Appearance: 5' 11" h / 172 lbs. Medium skin tone, brown eyes, brown hair. Dresses like a 1940s gangster, complete with brown button-up overcoat, white shirt, and a black vest with a red tie tucked under it; close-fitting brown pants and black leather belt, and dark brown shoes -- all of which are kept immaculately clean. A brown fedora with a black bandanna tied around it complete the ensemble.

Info: Level-headed, slick, and charming, Double-Take often likes to play tricks with people's minds, but only gets serious about them where Panther Corp is concerned. He can create 'clones' of himself at will, although these are more like puppets; although they can act independently, they have no actual intelligence of their own, and they act only when he wishes them to. The clones imitate his strength, speed, etc., and are identical in appearance to his own self-image -- including his clothes, guns, and the coin he always keeps in his breast pocket. The number of clones he can create at a given time is limited by how much energy he has, and how long they are to be active; when they "die," they dissolve into an ashy mist and leave no trace.

Double-Take is one of the few augments who can remember being experimented upon. Still, as far as he cares, whoever did all of this to him actually made his life better -- yet he also knows that the lives of many others were ruined, which does not sit well with him. Though he can remember the experiments, he cannot really remember who had conducted them, and one of his life's goals is to solve this mystery.

In his former life Double-Take was a street magician, and he combines these skills with his real duplication stunts to confuse his enemies. He is also a crack-shot with handguns and rifles; he carries two Colt Pythons, mounted in crossing shoulder holsters, under his coat. He is a member of Stratus.
